Does anyone know anything about the Lake Kabetogama area?

Memorial Day weekend me and the wife and a couple of other couples are taking a motorcycle/camping trip up there for the weekend. I have never been up there but one of the couples have. They said it is very nice. I had to buy more camping gear like a tent because we got rid of our tent when we bought a popup (stupid, stupid, stupid). Never shoould have sold it. Oh well you live and learn. The kids are bummed because we are not taking them on this trip. We are still fairly new to bikes and not comfortable with them on the back for that long of a trip. I usually take them for rides around the area once in awhile. Anyway back to the lake, anybody suggest any sites in the area we need to see?

Faceman...went there alot when i was younger, Woodenfrog area on I believe the NW part of the lake was really nice, and there is a campground there.  The ash river trail area is pretty cool and a bunch of resorts/ campgrounds there, that area would be good for biking around....

Thanks for the info. The hardest part of this trip is packing light, hence motorcycle trip. I am used to loading up the popup camper and the suburban. This is going to be fun.

The couple that went last year said there is a store not far from where they camp that carries everything from food to tackle to LIQUOR. I cant wait.
