here is a tip... first timers, get to the launch early.
I have some great spots, but i'll wait until next weekend and avoid the rush.  Should be a good tourney though, with the late ice out, the crappies will be in there thick.

Crappie fishing sounds tempting, but I'm heading down to the South Forty for a 3D shoot. There is also a shoot at Bald Eagle on Sunday that I'd also like to shoot, but I may drop the boat in at the local crappie hole instead.
