Wicked walleye fishing
The ice reports that deterred some from coming to Ely turned out to be erroneous. Most area lakes were free of hard water and were ripe with walleyes. Double digit catches were the norm on Fall lake out in front of the power dam and White Iron lake at Silver Rapids were red hot. Jig and rainbow minnows were the ticket. If you're into some fast walleye action, head on up to Ely real soon and we'll give you all the information you'll need to join in on the fun.
