The fishing is still very good. It slowed down a couple times with the weather changes, but after a couple days, it goes right back to great fishing. Drifting with a jig, or spiner work. Shiners, worms, and leeches are all working. I seen people anchored with slip bobers catching walleye too. When there biting, just about everything has been working. Been catching eaters, and alot of good sized fish in the slot limit, so make sure you check the slot, because the DNR are checking the landings at resort's, and also the public landing's. Plus you can catch plenty good eaters not in the slot. They taste better than the big ones anyway. Pine Point, Stony, Oak Point, Hardwoods, also off the points on the west side of Walker Bay. I haven't been on the east side of the lake, but it sounds like they are bitting all over Leech Lake.
