Wasnt a whole lot I could do, I got her breathing, cleared her airway, got her collared and covered her up with my sleeping bag to keep the dust and grime off her and to cover her up for when the fd came to extricate her out of the car. One of the most stressful weeks of my life, from smashing into a deer, waiting over night, cutting into my nodak time, than to dealing with the wreck, assuming the worst, and then wondering if my truck was going to even get us home.

Chris,

What awesome video's and pictures. My dad and one of my brothers are retired firefighters, and I also have another brother that is still a firefighter, and after watching the video of you with Hannah and her family at the hospital, I know it doesn't mean much because you don't know me...but it made me very proud of you!!  :woot:  It's a great thing you did for her, and you were a true blessing to her family!  WAY TO GO CHRIS!!  :toast:

Where I'm from calling, flagging and decoying are just basic skills and the kids will do a little guiding just to pay off some bills.
