Hello everybody, its been a while since I sent in a report. Been busy, we been having a great year at the resort, and fishing has also been great. Fishing has been great ever since the opener. We keep thinking it will slow down, and of course we do get those days, or when we get a front that moves in, but it seem's like it comes right back. This has been the best fishing since we bought the resort 8 years ago. I been fishing this lake for many years before we bought the resort, and this still has them all beat. We been sending our guest's out to Pine Point, around Goose Island, the Hardwoods, Stoney Poing, or right out in front of our resort, or they just go out on their own, and find fish. Pan fish, Northern, what ever, it's been very good. Thats all I can say, there's no tricks, people been using minnows, crawlers, leeckes, if one don't work, just try the other. Jigging and bobber has been the best, but people are starting to use the spiner bait's also. Depths, are from shallow to 14, 15 feet, but seem's like they are starting to go deeper, especialy if you are looking for the bigger fish. Just remember we do have a slot limit, and they are watching, either at the harbors at the resort's, or coming right to the boat. There are plenty of good eaters out there, so there is no reason to take a chance. Plus the smaller ones taste better anyway.
