Fish On Bait and Sport
Glenwood, MN
Lake Minnewaska

Friday and Saturday were really nice days to be on the lake.  Some reports of nice walleyes during the day on Minnewaska but most visitors were after the nice sunnies.  Still unlimited amounts of 8 to 9 inch sunnies in 12 to 16 feet of water.  Most are using our panfish leaches.  The pre-fishing for the walleye tournament this weekend has started.  Seeing more and more boats each day.  Really rough water on Sunday and Monday due to the high winds.  Today is beautiful and the pre-fisherman are really combing the lake.  Should be a good weekend and will be exciting to see what the professional walleye people bring in for fish...weigh-in is on Sunday.  Reno has a really great day bite on the south side!  Many reports of nice fish and a lot of fish!  We are out of larger leaches but have panfish leaches.  Otherwise we have fatheads, crappie minnows, crawlers, waxies and few redtails on hand.

Fish On!!

Right on Highway 104 just west of the hospital
