So after about 6 months of beating me down like a mule, my wife finally convinced me into going with her to buy a used 2005 Grand Caravan. Seemed like a great investment at the time :puke: to haul the new child in, and I figured another reason to get some more critical habitat plates.

Lo and behold just the other day the front fans just went out. No cold, no heat, nothing. The rear climate fans work just fine, and the air is also sufficient in the back.

I think it is one of two things, (after checking fuses, and relays) it's either the blower motor, or the front blower resistor.

Anyone have an idea how hard it is to replace the blower motor? I'm pretty sure I can pop the resistor out tonight and take it to Advanced Auto to have them check it. I have also priced out the resistor (which I hope it is) for 24.00 dollars.

Any ideas???? :bonk: :bonk:

Bought the blower resistor part after work, installed it in 5 minutes. Works like a dream.  :woot:The replacement looked nothing like the original part in the van, but only cost about 24 dollars.

Thanks for the help thamann, camoguy.
