Can anyone here figure out what the coaching staff see's/saw in the pre-season/practices that remotely would lead them to believe that T-jack is a NFL quarterback or even a third string back up?  I have tried to be open minded the last year here and try to see little signs or sparks of greatness.... but it just aint there. :doah:  :doah:  If Childress doesnt start someone else Im gonna start scrapbooking or cleaning my closets or driving bamboo splinters under my nails.... ya know, something more enjoyable! :banghead:

He wasn't horrible, just average.  If Vistinko could hang onto a lob TD pass, we may have won the game.  Between average QB play, crappy predictable play calling and some poor calls against the Vikes, they lost AGAIN.  Good teams that are well coached would be 2-0.  We're not.  Hopefully someone pulls the head and Childress has seen his last season in Minnesota.  Assuming tarvaris keeps up an average to subpar year, we desperatly will need a new QB next year, maybe even this year.

Yeah the play calling is a joke when we get inside the 30... :banghead: but TJ was throwing behind guys all day,  what was he, 12 fer 26... thats three completed passes per quarter... thats from having NO confidence in the guy throwin the ball & not completeing em when ya do throw.  At least he aint throwin the int's... but ya can tell Chilly aint letting TJ force plays and throw into coverage, he tucks the ball in every time theres even a ref near a reciever! :rotflmao:

childress needs to call plays better thats plain and simple, maybe work on pass plays that will boost TJacks confidence. not these dumb dump plays were you have the receiver run 2 yards and turn. and bench shanicoe hes done maybe get a refund for him also, what a waste of money, and to cap it all off rice hurt his PCL (knee) and berrians toe injury still isnt gone so there both questionable for this week. i know we have an excellent running game with AD but we cant run him like that all game. there were plays were i thought he got hurt. like a big D-lineman coming from behind him and throwing himself into the back of AD's Knee's and yes that was on purpose. first play this week they HAVE TO DO A PLAY ACTION TO PETERSON AND THROW IT DEEP TO ALLISON OR BERRIAN because i dont think rice will play. and carolina will stack 8-9 in the box, and of course childress will wait until mid 4th quarter to make adjustments. oh and longwell cant kick 5-7 feild goals a game that takes alot out of the leg, dont want to use him up this early in the season.

plain and simple childress needs to take the leash off of TJack this week and let him throw the ball 35 times

You could give t.jack all the freedom in the world and he will still only be a 3rd string q.b. Unless they do something and it looks like from the news t.jack will not be starting on sunday. Its sad that I now watch the vikings for 2 reasons only"a.p"and "defense". Zygy needs to clean the coaching staff now...Just my 2 cents.

It's a sad day when I would rather go to a Gophers game then to a Vikings, but it happened on Saturday. I'm with you Cody, Childress can beat it....he has worn out his welcome!
Marry an outdoors woman. Then if you throw her out into the yard on a cold night, she can still survive.

what childress has done is taken a nobody and tryed to make him into a donavon mcnabb because he thought just because he was the QB coach that he made Mcnabb and this is how he is trying to prove it
