as a matter of fact, I will.
Russ and Judy, along with the beaver put on one hell of a show!

B.B. guns, clay pigeons from any of three different throwers tossing out targets to a barrage of shotgunners.
kids of all ages buzzing around on atv's.

it was fun watching the kids who never had a chance to do these activities enjoy themselves to no end.

the turnout was the best we have ever had at any of the previous IBOT fest events.
the menu included baked salmon, barbequed ribs, SOHAWKS famous chilli in both mild and bung burning HOT! steaks, burgers and brats.
Sandi brought her wonderfully fresh rice krispi bars.
Uncle Nutsy with the keg and tapper kept the troops refreshed.

a special thanks to Bernice Raddatz, Russ and beavers mom who was gracious enough to let us use the raddatz family farm for this great event.

It was good to see old familiar faces. buck and sandi, putz and moron, joe mama, joe (High life), spinach and nickle, bare back and George, Dr. Bob and Becky with jake and lizzy,
sohawk, with jake fyre and lydia,
PMS Griz ;D and the numbers of other people I am forgetting about at the moment.

oh yeah I almost forgot, Joe mama teamed up with the Moron to steal away the horse shoe trophy from the two year champions, putz and buckhead.
nice job gentlemen!

Again, thanks to all who attended and those who helped put this event on.
it was a smashing success!
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!

I just got home a few minutes ago and still have to unload the truck, but I will say that it was the best get together ever. Russ, Judy, Beaver and ma Raddatz sure hosted one nice weekend party, the work they all put in at the farm to get the area ready was unbelievable.

I'm too tired to recap now, but will write something up tomorrow, their were a ton of pictures taken and some great stories to share with everyone who missed the fest.

A big thanks to everyone for making IBOT fest 2006 a success.  I apologize for having to leave so early.  The kids had a great time.  I can't wait until next year!

Sounds like a great time was had by all. Would have loved to have made it down there but I live just a little too far away. You know how someone tells you they are going up "Nort?" Well you go there, turn left, go about another 150 miles and you get to my place. You can't miss it. There's a sign hanging on the end of my garage that says,"Parking For Swede's Only, all other's will be towed!" It would have cost me half the national debt and my first born child to buy enough gas to get there and back. I'm still pretty fond of that first kid. It comes as no surprise to me that Russ, Judy, and My Hero, The Exalted Beaver, put on such a great shoot-out. These are all first rate people so you couild hardly go wrong. Maybe I should move a little farther south. I have considered doing so but I love living up here in Warroad. This might be a good time to let all members know that if they are ever up in LOW country, that they are welcome to give me a call and hook up. I won't come down and post your bail(except maybe ?for Dr Bob and jigglestick) but am willing to come pull you out of the ditch or off the lake if necessary. May even be willing to do a l;ittle psychoanalysis on the side! ::) ;) Maybe if the Good Lord is willing and the creek don't rise, I can make it to this ne plus ultra of all party's next year! ;D  ;) DIRTBALL2 ;)

First of all I?d like to thank Russ, Judy and Mom for supplying an excellent location for the festivities.
I?d also like to thank all the people that were involved in putting this all together.
The boys and I had a great time. My oldest still hasn?t stopped talking about the trap shooting. I think he put over 2 boxes of shells through the old 870 himself. His brother spent most of his time riding the atvs and shooting the BB guns. I think I?m going to have to practice throwing them shoes for next year. Outdoorlife and I got to the final round by beating Putz and Buckhead, but Joe mama and Moron were definitely on their game. I really had a lot of fun.
I also did a little thing known as clamping. I guess there isn?t a more appropriate place to become an IBOT than at my first IBOT Fest. I met a lot of great folks and hope to see you all at the next IBOT Fest, if not sooner.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.

Ma Raddatz---
We  cant thank all of yous enough that came, you put a smile on her face that cant be thanked enough - she giggled at every hand shake, hug, calling her Ma Raddatz, along with some conversation thanking her for the use of everything- she was so pooped out Saturday night (after several trips to the shed)  she slept till 9 am the next morning and missed church as she giggled)-  her comments were-there nice people, safty minded, they sure brought this old farm back to life in quit a few years the she asked are we going to do this again next year? are you making plans for it yet? ;;- then we handed her the donation bucket-her jaw dropped open and she was speach less-- Again thank you from myself, Judge Judy, and Beaver

some great moments that happened
we did say that we had a new game that would be there but we didnt say what it would be--It's called Hammerslugin-- you think your good with a hammer and able to pound a 16 penny nail into a piece of wood-- it took a lot of people by surprize that they cant!! right Uncle Nutzy and many more- right Nickles? we watched you spas out big time trying-so welcome to the club;;

Nickles and High Life clamped as far as I know- who else?

the camp fire was kind of interesting as Beaver, Uncle Nutzy, Jiggle all tried to take a little snooze during it-
You Snuzze You Loose- nice T-Shirt Jiggle- Beaver was looking all over the next morning trying to find his cap--the fire works was great even inside the the shed, great show

Leaky stopped by and gave us a great report from Mille Lacs Lake along with Castaway and his wife with another M Lacs report

Judy and myself were both wounded from rolling horse shoes, Judy needed a stop in the game to get it covered up but she went back at it trying to pull out a win for her and Joanne (they wanted the trophy) I believe there were 11 teams trying for it? as Gamble and Joe Mama pulled it to the winning circle

George clamped too. ;D

I remember Uncle Nutsy sitting at the campfire and whistling the words to the campfire music, Buckhead reaching for a beer and falling over the chair and the box of beer onto his face.... Yee-haw buck.

Jiggle taking a nap at the campfire and the whole crew messing with him, he kept waking up and saying he was just resting his eyes.

Griz and i had our arses handed to us in horseshoes by beavers friends, those guys threw double ringers throughout the game.

Thanks to everyone that showed up this year and all the hard work by everyone.

My initial response was to sue her for defamation of character, but then I realized that I had no character.

Hi folks,

Sorry I was such a party pooper and laid so low most of the weekend.? I have been through hell the last two weeks battling to keep the custody of my children.? I just needed some down time.? I am really glad that we made it though and we all had a good time.?

I finally went to court yesterday and it is behind me for now.? I am headed out this afternoon on another adventure and am ready to "get'er done".? The Voyageur's Nat'l Park will never be the same after this weekend.? Harold, Xplorer and yours truly will see to that!

Russ, Judy, Beave and Ma Raddatz - thank you all for your hospitality.? What an AWESOME place for a big ol' family get-together like this one!? Thanks also to everyone else who did so much to make this happen.? It was GREAT!

I would also like to welcome the new members.? ?Always remember "You are never alone".

I took a bunch of photo's but will not have time to upload them til next week.? I will do it as soon as I can.

Judy's still kind of favoring her leg and my knee is back from - I think we were the only ones hurt by the end of the weekend-- dumb rolling, jumping horseshoes got us both

we sent in somemore pics to get posted

?-- HighLife and MetroJoe are you the same people?

SoHawk- everything you brought is by your grill--anyone want the bales in the field just stop and pick them up

anyone wanting to rent Moms shed for storage now that some have seen it (all or part) let me know

we have a sad event to go to this weekend--Melvins son has to get his nose ring put in for life- Melvin was the one running around with the camera and Jungle Jim hat on-JoAnn was always grilling
