you think sporting clays are easy tim? well for that you only get 2 shots also so i guess your  :censored: out of luck

Easier than live birds. At least you know how fast and the general direction.....
True but the live birds cackle at you when you miss....  :rotflmao:

It is not how many years you live, it is how you lived your years!

well you have more time to look at the pheasant than the clay pigeon :whistling: and once you miss the clay it hits the ground and breaks but the bird will always land were you can go try at it again and poor tim will have an empty box of shells and no bird after flushing it 5 times :rotflmao: :party1: :moon:

now me on the other hand its flushed bird BANG dead bird

tim- flush BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!!!!! :censored: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

now if i was duck or goose hunting i want more than 3 shells. thats is something i really stuggle with. like this morning when i was on the marsh called a duck from all the way on the other side of the marsh from these other hunters that had been sky blasting and ruining the entire morning for me. it came across and circled back around in front of me, easy shot and BAM BAM BAM!!!! and i dont miss her completly but i winged her and she glides towards the other guys and they shot her. little frusterated that i didnt just drop her right there. but i blame my shells for that  ;D ;D

Bobby... when ya miss when shootin sporting clays, your friends cackle when ya miss!(they better be friends) ;)  Yeah its nice I suppose to have 5-100 shots to fill the sky with lead when the roosters are getting up in waves, but I found when using shotguns with a magazine, I used to take alot of bad shots, being limited to two makes ya make yer shots count, so to speak... a bit more patient to take good shots and not that hurried first shot(miss) getting on the bird shot(maybe a hit) then the follow up shot when ya finally get the barrel in front of the bird.. Another thing to think about is two shells weigh a lot less than than a handfull, especially when using bigger magnum loads, you may scoff at that, but think about hanging a one or two pound weight off yer barrel!  ;)  And remember, even a 5-shot mag has to be reloaded, and I dont know about you guys, but I can reload a SxS or a O/U a hell of a lot faster than puttin 5 shells in pump or an autoloader! ;)
