There were an incredible number of anglers out this past week. There were some mixed reports and the majority of anglers reported that fishing excellent. There were many fish fry’s and lots of fish to take home.

There were boats from the bridge in town all the way to Zippel Bay. There was action in all locations  and the larger Walleye seemed to have come from the lake and four mile bay. Anchored and jigging with a shiner has been the best, most anglers are using 3/8th or ½ ounce jigs. There were many reports of large Sturgeon being caught.

The forecast for the upcoming week looks excellent for the end of October with highs in the 50’s and lows in the 30’s.

The water temp continues to drop and it is currently at 48.9 degrees.

We are taking reservation for the winter fishing.
