ice fishing time!!

im new to the duluth area and looking to find some fishing spots nearby. what is used for walleyes around the area and what lakes usually give up a bite?

Hi Steve! there are several lakes near Duluth. Fishlake is very popular eyes crapies perch and northern. there is a public landing near the dam and good fishing within walking distance. DONT GO IN FRONT OF THE DAM also Boulder lake ,Caribou lake , and Grand lake . are all good lakes to try. use small jigs or a pimple. Good luck and keep safe.

thanks, i will likely be using a bucket and a rod this year with a hand augger so probly only early season for me... my dad owns all the good stuff and i have to make due alone now
