12-4-08  You guys are merciless when looking for ice conditions!  Ok, here is the afternoon update...7" in the northern Frandsen Park area, 5 in the bays, 3"-5"out on the main lake.  I have watched guys walk with sleds from the west access out to the Wilson area..Cigar Island is seeing hot crappie action on the bottom, with some walleyes sneaking in.  Sunnies are in shallow on larva, both waxy and euro...walleye on the East lake by the hump off the public access..dusk and dawn bite.  Tip ups in the park are getting their fair share of northern.  The huge winter tackle order is being checked in tonite..so take care of your Christmas shopping on the way to the ice!  We've got plenty of gift stuff from tackle to jewelry, candles...really cool wooden wine holders just got here too...
