I wanted to follow up on the post of my catch of a lifetime but I have been so busy with interviews from the local papers. To be honest I thought I had a pike on when she first hit. All I saw was the flash of something long and slender in the water. I caught the Wall I on a home made lure but I have been advise not to reveal it as there might be a market for it and we can all use a way to make some gas money. I think the heat of the day might have had something to do with the dark color and the Wall I was much heavier but had dried out by the time I got a photo. Also the ruler is a wide one which takes away from the girth. All I can say is that you to can catch one of these babies, they are closer then you think...  :fishing:

Caught his brother the other night, had a hard time getting it up through the hole.  Kept getting hung up. It was a catch and release, just so skinny this time of year!  :whistling:

I'd like to enter my Walldough. It has an estimated value of $300.00. The wife just gave me some strange looks as I was mounting it on the wall. She never asked me what I was doing since she just seems to understand me after 44 yrs of marriage.

I'd like to reveal where I caught it, but I'm afraid to many anglers would show up there and the Walldoughs would get over harvested.

I understand that it's to late to enter a wall-eye that's been caught years ago, but I'd like to show off this other wall-eye that I caught back in 1975. As far as I know, no one has ever caught another like it. At first I wasn't sure what species it was until I decided to mount it on the wall. Then it became obvious that it was a wall-eye.

When guests come over to visit for the first time it kind of gives them the creeps, but after a while you kind a get used to it.  Unfortunately I'm unable to disclose the lake in which I captured this beauty, but I can tell you that I caught it on a teardrop jig.
