VIKINGS--Ranked 22nd? ? ? ?
Our projections really don't like the Vikings in 2006, but don't be shocked if they enjoy a second-half surge to match last year's. Minnesota has the easiest projected second half schedule in the league. From Week 9 on, the Vikings play only one team projected to have a winning record (Miami, Week 11).

REDSKINS-- Ranked 12th? ? ? ?
It's hard to tell how much weight we should give Washington's abominable preseason performance. Over the past decade, five teams have gone winless in the preseason after a winning record the year before. For the 2005 Colts, the preseason losses turned out to mean nothing. The other four teams, however, all had losing records: the 2003 Falcons, 2002 Rams, 2000 Chiefs, and 1997 Panthers. If you want to go further back, the 1982 Redskins had a winless preseason, and they won the Super Bowl.

This was the Fox Sports power ranking for the week.

I will be pulling for the Vikings :) even though I'll be :o if they win.

you can't go undefeated if you don't win the first one!!
I have to say that we have alot of work, shoring up the rookie mistakes. the roughing the passer penalty. the boched extra point. well it wasn't a rookie mistake, but kloo-ee shouldn't have been holding that snap.
then this chester taylor fella running behind birk, hutchinson and McKinney will allow us to stick with a running game. that is allways a good thing.
a 19-16 final for the season openr is a W anyway you look at it and I'll take it every time.
GO VIKES!!

Looks like we may have the 2 and 0 Vikings against the 2 and 0 Bears on Sept. 24 th.

My prediction will be:

 Sunday Sept 24..............Bears 24 / Vikings 17

I do wish we could get Ragnar to move to Chicago though.
