I got the foldable ones, cause I move alot and I hike to different spots.
The area down south I sometimes hunt has bluffs and creek bottoms.
They fit well in a backpack.

The pretty boy is nice, but nothing beats the real deal. They are not as easy to carry and you better have blaze on them when you come out of the woods but they are the ticket. I just might know someone who could make one for you! ;) ;D

Good one Auggie!  Do you offer a "cheap" plan for doing one that will be used for decoy?

They are cheaper than a regular mount, but to most still pretty expensive.

You mean the primos b-mobile series or the knight and hale pretty boy?

I have the b mobile jake/hen/tom and really like them. However, if its cold out like last springs hunt for me in the snow the sides dont like to stay out and look as real.

The other thing is take care of the fan and the body when your not hunting. if you can keep em fully open and not folded up the better.

The bad thing Ive noticed with the Bmobile Tom and it could possibly be with your pretty boy is you really need to know what bird your going after.  Having that big deke out there will scare off many jakes and smaller toms and you will only be drawing the boss bird of the woods in. So great if your looking for the trophy tom or if your just looking to fill a tag.

For me with turkeys I dont think I am good enough to chase a trophy tom only.
Most years for me it seems like I never get stable weather, or only a few days or some sort of a problem that I will take the first legal bird.

That is one reason the real decoys are nice. The movement of the feathers looks real to the birds because it is real. A hen decoy is more important in my opinion. If you can piss off the boss hen and bring her, the rest will follow like sheep.
