It was a fishing contest we went to............

The biggest fish caught that won, was a 9 ounce perch.

We didn't win, but the boy had fun.....and thats all that really counted.

He got his fill of hotdogs, soda and chips!   ;D

Fished in he Ultimate Panfish League today. Didn't get into the money but had a great time. Very nice weather and there were some nice fish pulled out of the ice.

Went to Buffalo on Saturday. Didn't get set up until 10 am (I know). Dozen nice crappies and half dozen perch. What a day. 17 feet of water.

We were on the lake by 7:30 am.

The bite was slow!

We managed to catch some decent Perch and a few Crappies and a ton of medium to small Sunfish. But, it was better than siting at home!

Hope you made it out! I was warm but windy!

I got out right away this morning.  got into the crappies a few inches bigger then those 8 inchers hunter was posting thank god  ;)

Hunter - Do you keep those 8 inchers? The first crappie I ever caught on rush was like 13 ", followed by a limit of all 10+ inchers so I try not to keep any under 10 on rush.

I hear ya there! All the money in the world couldn't buy me some ice time these days it seems. Only made it out maybe half a dozen times so far..... I've got high hopes for open water though.... MRS. says we need a BIGGER boat for our growing family. But with the unexpected expense of a furnace we'll see what happens.

I was out a green this weekend and the fishing contest Sunday.
Did not get anything doring the contest but after the contest went to the fish house to watch the game and the good fish god gave me four crappies  :dancinred:

Went out on Orchard lake on Sunday and got 5 crappies in about 25 FOW.  Nothing real big so I sent them back down.
