I been doing a little shore fishing in my favorite Metro lake I have not done well on the crappies but did manage to catch 3 northern pike to night. My friends did get a few during the day but to night you could not buy a bite. I think The northerners had something to do with it.

The pike had alot to do with it! only in the spring I see pike chasing crappies or I catch crappies that have bite marks on them !

Things slowed up since the cold snap maybe the bite will come back.

Hey don't forget when a cold front comes through the "fish" almost always fall back to the first break or even deedper! So if you are shore fishing and its slow and a front has passed it's more likely you are not deep enough.
Hint: if one lure isn't working try sipmlifying your presentation! ( get the lure to " float" or "suspend" :happy1:
