This Buck held a little too tight. Good tactic to keep from getting shot at but it don't always work. Puts a new meaning to harvesting deer

I have had this happen before it sucks. At least he is not in there too bad I have had them get in to the point of having to use a chain saw to cut them out :banghead: Its to bad but it happens more them you think.

Never heard of that. Ag equipment picks up lots of critters, mostly birds in hay equipment. Have had some bales with coon and skunks in them.

Thats doesn't look like fun  it is too bad to loose a nice buck like that i tried to help a deer this fall caught in a woven wire fence cut it loose but it didn't make it but i guess that is the way it works all a person can do is try

Yeah it is sad to see an animal go this route. They thrash so violenly trying to get away from fences that they injure themselves alot of times fatally. I watched a little fork running through the area and try to jump a dog kennel fence. On his fourth attempt his antler got hung up on the top of the fence so his feet could not touch the ground. He kicked off the fence and fell to the ground with a broken neck. Had the law come and finish him. The meat did not get wasted. Those summer coats are so thin most would not even recognize one as a deer hide.
