bald eagle ???

was wondering if anybody has been fishing bald eagle lately?
i never fished it for pan fish only eye's

The average size of the crappies has dropped off quite a bit over the last 5 to 7 years, but there is still plenty of action. The last time I was out there I was catching cookie cutter crappies. They were all right around 7". This was right around the noon hour. The action was slow but steady. As I recall the evening bite was much better, but I haven't fished in the evening on Bald Eagle in years.

I did catch some desent size sun fish up on the north end this winter.

so anybody plan on fishing it for opener? how busy is it during the beginning of the season ?  i've always fished it towards the fall season.

Most of the metro area access are packed on opener. (just like every where else) I'd plan on getting there early if you want a spot to park.
