The ice is turning black and open water is on its way!

A number of people have been hitting the river and having great luck!

The suckers are starting to really flow in some areas of the ottertail. A lot of people have just been using large jig heads with a plastic body.

Others have been having luck finding nice sized crappies. Some people are still using waxies, but the crappie minnows have been getting the most hits.

All of the lakes should be open soon.  There has been a lot of talk through the shop that there are some great panfish just hungry and waiting!

Hopefully everyone is gearing up for opener...only 3 weeks away!!

And as always, good luck and have fun!
