Twins vs Chi Sox- Tigers

This is the week we've been waiting for or will regret for the rest of the season. Tonight starts a 3 game series with the Sox and then a 3 game set with the Tigers this weekend. We start the series 9.5 games behind the Tigers and 3 games behind the Sox.

Hopefully we gain a few games in the standings this week.

The Twins beat the White Sox 7-3 tonight at the dome.  They pulled to within one game of the wild card.  Radke is pitching tomorrow.  Santana is pitching Sunday.  Go Twins!

The Twins beat the White Sox yesterday 7-3 and pulled within one game of the wild card lead.  They beat the Sox 2 out of 3 games this weekend.  They are now only 6 1/2 back of the Tigers for 1st place in the division.  The Twins play the Orioles next.  The White Sox and the Tigers play each other.  So, the Twins might pull even closer.

Twins beat the Royals 3-1 today behind Santana's great pitching (11 strike outs)!  Next up for the Twins will be NY.

The Tigers lost to NY today 6-4.

Chicago lost to TB 5-3. 

So, the Twins gain a game on each of them!
