Chisago Lakes Area?

Well, I was just taking some time to look over last years report for the area and it looked pretty grim. I fished Chisago Lake with a buddy who knows the lake very well and we came up very short, it seemed to be the same story from every one we talked to. I think last years opener was an off year though with late ice and cold temps. This year things have been going pretty good and the water temps in and around the metro are at about normal for this time of year. I know all the crappie fishing I have done this year has been right on schedule. So needless to say I am very optimistic for this weekends opener!

Anyone else going to be fishing the area??
