The excellent Lake of the Woods angling is continuing but the fish have moved a little farther out this week, with most of the action happening in 19- 26 feet of water outside the lighthouse gap.  We’ve been mixing it up some this past week- still anchored and jigging with frozen shiners, but adding in some drifting with spinners and a crawler.  The Walleye are not biting aggressively; they are biting light but have been consistent throughout the day.  Our guests are getting limits of perfect keepers, while still hauling in the occasional trophy and releasing slot fish in the 19½ - 28 inch range. 

Looks like the weatherman is forecasting highs in the 60’s and lows in the mid- 40’s for the coming week.
