The hot action continues!  We are still seeing great action just outside the Lighthouse gap and along Pine Island.  Our Guides have fished the Zippel Bay area or the north side of the lake for a couple of days this past week while escaping the wind.  We have had great success in each spot.  The problem that most anglers are having is running out of bait.  There are an incredible number of little Saugers which is great to see.  Throughout the day we are getting great limits of keepers to take home and have fresh appetizers or dinner each night.  There have been numerous Walleye inside the slot limit being released and many trophies are still being caught.

Most of the action outside the Lighthouse Gap is from 18-28 feet.  Mostly anchoring and jigging with frozen shiners but we are starting to get some action on leeches as well.  Drifting with spinners has been successful at times depending on the wind.

Right now it looks like more of this spring weather is forecasted for the week and the upcoming weekend looks great, sunny with highs at 75 degrees.
