The day time walleye bite is worth checking out on the Big Pond with water temps into the 70o range. 

Continue to work the deep gravel areas: 4 Mile, 5 Mile and July Bar in 25 to 29 foot depths with live bait rigs.

Cold front conditions with strong NW winds kept most anglers off the water this past weekend with unfavorable conditions.

Bob , Is there any special colors that are working this time of the year up there? I have only fished Mille Lacs one time and that was in october of last year. thanks
