Well, as most of you know we have been Foster Parents with the intent to adopt a 12 year old girl. I'm not gonna lie, there have been some tough times and times where we wondered what we were putting ourselves through  :banghead:. In the end, we felt it was best for her to still become a part of our family. I think most things we went through most parents go through with even biological children. There were chalenges for the most part because we went from a three year old daughter up to a twelve year old with nothing in the middle of how to do with things. We also don't know her entire back ground so that makes it hard.

This Thursday, July 2nd, we go to court to make it official. We are becoming parents for the second time and it's an exciting time I thought I would share.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

Your children are lucky to have both of you as their parents but you are even luckier to have them as your children!  Congrats :toast:

Life is like a roller coaster - many ups and downs, but you just don't want to miss the ride.  Congrats on the family addition.

What you are doing is possible the most selfless act one can do! For this I am sure you will be rewarded in life.

 Congratulations & God bless   :happy1:
Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!

Thanks guys.

Bowhunter, thanks, but you are too kind. It's not so much selfless as selfish. We wanted children and can't have our own. I think it's a win win for all of us. As far as being rewarded later, we are rewarded now. I could not imagine going through life without children. Best experience I've every had being a Dad.

I guess I could take a later reward, like when I'm old, they can change my diapers!! :moon:  :rotflmao:
