fishing is hot .....nice crappies during the day and late evening...very nice northerns...fishing is getting better every day...walleyes are being found and so are the muskies...as the sign says above the bar.....if you cant catch fish on this lake .....sell your boat
 :woot: for the month of August and September to help everyone out in these times we went to off peak rates: Cabin #1-3 -4  $140. per night Cabin #2 and 7 $135. per night Cabin # 6 $120, per night and Cabin # 5  $90. per night these are 2008 off peak rate come on up and relax and catch so nice fish....need a launch we can help with that too. We can get you on the big lake with St. Albans bay for $30.. per person   :happy1:
crappie bite is very strong during the middle of the day with some very nice ones coming in
its hard to say if the day bite or evening bite is better ...but the bigger crappies are coming out during the middle of the day..sunnies are being caught by the bucket full and bass are very active,,,,the newest player are the muskie that are taking peoples crappies and sunnies and giving the fisherman so real action...
we had another boat sink ...please put the plug in before driving away the trailer...
Had a few pros up this week and they did real well with the bass but they never take pictures.
got to go fishing last sunday with the wife and some friends...Mrs Crappie Castle got a nice 25.5 inch walleye...2nd walleye of her life...we came home with 4 smaller ones to eat and let hers go back...got nice pictures though..
starting to notice alot of mallards on the lake so now Im getting excited about duck hunting..just hope we get a fall season since we really havent had summer yet..
