Old Vexilar

I have a chance to get an older Vexilar for free, but I have no idea if it works or not.  How hard is it to find replacement parts?  I like Vexilars, but don't want to grab it if it's just going to take up more space.

Just take it. Its free. you can't go wrong. you can always throw it away. If it works....SCORE!

vexilar.com would be able to answer any question you might have . I thnk there is a number for them also .

they are pretty tough. my buddy had his fl8 under water for three months until we finally found it, hooked it with a gaff and recovered it. It went in the drink running. The battery was toast but the unit ran fine until he opened it and squirted it down with wd40 as a precaution and wrecked the board.
