Pat - is A-Rod sending his cheat sheet to you?  How are we going to handle filling out his roster at the end?  Should we try to come to some kind of agreement with him regarding choosing defenses and kickers in the last couple of rounds?

As far as filling out his roster, yes. We'll just have to come to an agreement to use common sense. Approach it as if it were our own teams.

I guess if there are no objections from the other players, we can use a comitteee of me, Jeffy and Scott to make sure he has a decent and fair draft.

That's exactly what I was thinking.  If who ever gets the list of players picks the Raiders defense in round 5 I think I will object.  We helped Snake make the playoffs last year and our teams blew.  We will probably do the same for this guy.

When I set up the list Ill try to make it as straight forward as possible.  liek I want my first 2 picks to be running backs, 3rd to be a QB, 4th receiver, etc... and provide a list of candidates to pick from.  If #1 isn't available, grab # 2.  Hopefully that will work.

I'm excited about the way my draft went this year, I took a little different approach and tried to get more depth at RB and WR, I waited until the 6th round to pick up a decent QB.

I drafted in the 9th position out of 10 teams, this is how my draft went. With my first pick, I jumped at Jackson over Portis, being I think this is Jacksons breakout year. Then in Round (2) I decided to go with either cadillac or Jordan, I feel good about the Raiders offense this year so I went with Jordan. I felt lucky to get an up and coming back like Droughns in round 4.

Mccallister might of been taken a round early, but this pick was somewhat of a gamble, a last years top 5 running back in the 7th round is hard to pass on, even with Bush splitting touches with Deuce, i'll be happy to get close to 800 yards rushing and a half dozen td's. I'm hoping the Benson pick plays out for me at midseason and for the playoff run, my guess is that he'll be the go to guy in Chicago around week 5.

My flier pick of the year was Leinart in round 15, I just had to give it a shot.

Here's hoping you and I have a better showing than last year.  Can't be much worse I guess.  I like your draft and I definitely like mine.  I may have a little too much youth but I'd rather roll with fresh legs.

IMHO everything went well for my team also.  Things just kind of fell in line for a well rounded and deep team.  Although I didn't want to, when you have a chance to draft Culpepper in the 7th round you just have to.  That's a heck of a backup QB for my team.  I might be a little short on RB, but I can alwasy pick one up come a week or two into the season.  I had the 4th pick of the draft.

Are preseason transactions charged $1?  How are those transactions charged?  Is the payout based on the entry fee plus transactions?   :-\  These are all questions I should have asked before 

Do the pick 'em results factor in to the winning teams record at the end of the season?

All transactions, including preseason, where a player is added to a roster are charged $1.  I will determine final amounts due at the end of the year.  Trades are strictly $1 no matter how many players are swapped.  The payouts are the entry fee plus transaction money.  The 3rd place finisher gets $25 and the highest total points for the year gets $25.  1st and 2nd place then split the remaining pot 70% to 30%.

No the pick em is just for fun.  It does not factor into who wins the league or anything like that.
