Register today for biking and geocaching event in Itasca State Park Limited number of openings available for Aug. 22-23 event

Spend the first day riding the trails as you learn about the park’s historical and natural areas.  The ride will include sixteen miles of moderate biking. Lodge overnight in Itasca State Park Club House. Spend the next day learning to use a GPS unit and geocaching with the park naturalist. 

Evening spent relaxing in the Club House or on an hike through the woods. Lodging and instruction is included.  Meals are on your own at Douglas Lodge or the Headwaters Restaurant.  Participants must be at least age 18.

Fee is $65. Register by calling Julie at 218-327-4414.

The event is being offered by the DNR's Becoming an Outdoors Woman Program.
