Well..I have been very busy and have not had a chance to get up there but I have been getting reports all week and they just keep getting better.

Our neighbors up at MTB were out last night and used slip bobbers and leeches shallow over rocks. They boated 28 walleyes!!

I heard the same thing from a friend of mine that was at the cabin all week. September is here and the fishing only gets better on the big pond.

I need to make a run up in the next couple of weeks to remove the air conditioner out of the fish house and help get it ready for the winter season. Probably the last weekend of Sept, I'll  probably head up Friday night and fish the late evening and then again in the morning, work on the fish house in the afternoon and fish Saturday eve and Sunday morning, then head home in time for the Vikings game.

Are you heading up that weekend? Anyone else? I have 3 open beds in the house for anyone that wants to come up for the weekend.

I take that back......after the report I heard today I am heading up on Thursday for the evening/night.

A friend was out last night for a few hours and boated 12 nice fish. This was done after dark trolling. There is also reports of people doing well with slip bobbers and leeches over rocks...2- 10 feet of water.

If it is this good right now just imagine what October may bring.......... :o

Too bad i'll be Pheasant hunting ;D
