A great week of ice fishing!  We have been fishing from 22- 26 feet of water just north of Pine Island.  Today we are starting to get in the 27-28 foot depths.  There was a little slow down when we finally got above zero.  The fishing has picked back up to excellent and the weather looks to be stable for the coming week.

Apparently we cannot keep the Lindy Slick jig on the shelf, I have now run our distributor out of them.  The reports this week are that they work awesome.  I am out and not sure when I will be able to get more.  Also there have been many great reports from the stop sign lure and we have plenty of them.

The forecast for the week looks mild, highs in the 20’s and lows in the single digits.

We do have weekend dates available.  Give us a call.

WHat are they putting on the "slick" jigs. minnows? waxies? I have seen some in the stores but they look a little big , like only  very aggressive fish would eat?

They are using them with fat heads and frozen shiners.
