This past fall was my first time salmon fishing.  I fished the Menominee river near Marinette. Now like i said this was my first time fishing so I am about 100 pages behind on wisconsin salmon fishing.  I heard today that there are 2 different species of salmon on the lakes that run through the rivers and spawn, and one runs in the fall, and one runs in the spring.  Is this true?

I feel like an idiot asking this......I just really have no idea!
