Special Note to Eelpouters:  This year there will be special enforcement emphasis on littering.  Your encampment or fishhouse area will be entered into a gps and ownership noted. Fines of up to $750 will be issued if you leave your garbage behind or are caught throwing garbage on the ice.

Please remember you are guests of the City of Walker, Cass County, and Leech Lake when you participate in the Eelpout Festival.  Do not wear out your welcome by leaving your garbage behind. The festival permit for 2011 depends on it. You may not be invited back.  The Festival provides dumpsters at the lake accesses for your use FREE OF CHARGE. Use them.
