Ice is a little soft around the edges, used a ladder to get on.
Once you get on the main body of ice...it's smooth walk'in.  :happy1:

There is still a good 20 to 24 inches of ice. With the colder weather today, the shore line has re-froze a bit.

I only fished for less than 2 hours tonight.....

Looks to be a couple brutes in there HD! Every pond/small watershed I drove by today was open except for some pack ice floating around down here! Nice catch!

Thanks Lex!

Most that I kept were in the 7 1/2 to 8 inch range, but a couple were 8 1/2"
Not monsters, just good eaters.

There were alot of smaller ones to weed through too....still fun!

Tonight, I did someth'in a little different.

I went perch'in.... I fished in 15 f.o.w. with wax worms on a green glow demon. I caught a dozen of the little buggers that I kept. Here is a pic of one of them, all that I cleaned were about this size. I would have taken more pics, but my camera took a  :censored: after this one.  :sorry:
