My name here is MNO and to the world I am Tim.

This will be my first year putting in a food plot and am excited to see how it goes.

I'm Hunterdown on here...but I go by my nickname Hunter (even ask my wife)

I've been doing food plots for a little over 10 years. I'm also a "part time" farmer, so, I have all the equipment I need. I have planted everything from brassicas, oats, clover, rye, corn to beans.
(a few other ones in there too, but, you get the idea)

I have to say that it has been very rewarding, and keeps me busy!

deadeye here.  I've been dabbling in plots for about 8 years now.  I'm a minimalist when it comes to plotting.  I usually just spray weed killer, wait a couple weeks and spray again.  Then broadcast seed/fertilizer over the area and stand back.

The name is Jerry and I go by DaKids on here because I have 4 kids and I'm also one at heart.  Been food plotting for 4 years.  Planted corn, beans, peas, brasicas, oats, clover, alfalfa, sunflowers.  You name it, Iv'e tried it.

My name is Jeremy but everyone calls me Swany.
This is my third year of food plots and I will be going with soybeans for the first time. The only bad thing is that our property has been so wet for that last two years we haven't gotten the crop in until about mid-June. It shortens the growing season but is the best we can do

uhhh... I've never really done this online before.. 

ok ok... I have 40 acres in mcgrath... we've been working this land for about 5 years and this year we're ready to make the plots the main focus of our time up there.. in the past it's been building on the shack or just fighting to establish nice trails.. our trails are covered in clover.. this year we opened up about 1 acre for a "garden" of sorts... pumpkins, squash (you know stuff that blows up really cool if the deer don't eat em).  we got 2 more plots that I'm leaning towards brassica and turnips..

I quit my government job in 1994 and started PLM - Prairie Land Management because I wanted to do more on the land and get more done and work in a larger area...rather than just one county.  I have since ran all over the USA working with people on land management and habitat enhancement...including food plots.  The seed that we sell on-line and at our store in Glenwood is also seed that I personally use.  I am not into shiney bags and expensive seed...just results.  I give seminars at many of the outdoor shows and am always happy to offer information on my knowledge and experience...but I am obviously going to learn a lot from all of the others on this forum as well.  Photos of your projects are great and encourage everyone to post those as they can.

Worked as a crop consultant in ND for 3 years then did fertilizer chemical sales for 3 years and have owned a crop consulting business since 1990. This year will mark my 29th year in agribusiness. I maintain close ties with several ag specialists at the U some of whom I went to school with. Yeah, we're old. Our business works a lot scouting fields, chemical and fertilizer advice, variety selection, etc., in roughly a 7 county area in SC MN. This job is as much about telling people what not to do as it is telling them what to do. Sometimes things are best left alone and not messed with. We also have a large garden that serves as a food plot when it's done, a couple pastures that we've enhanced for wildlife as well as some CREP acreage where we restored a wetland. Oh yeah, and I write Fencelines, featured here on MNO.
