Really finding a lot of mushrooms the last couple days.   :dancinred: Not the 20 lbs tree lots, but fill your hat in an hour type lot.  Like to catch a few photos while I'm at it!  Unfortunately the few pounds today cost me $51 to get my keys. Locked them into my truck while I was out!  I ended up finding two single egg turkey nests so far.

Thanks for sharing. Awesome pics! I especially like the pic with twins in it. Even at $51 it's worth it!

Well, with the turkey in the bag for the season I decided to hit a few elm trees tonight.  Ended up with around 3 or 4 pounds of mushrooms.  About half of them were over ripe large yellows.  I guess I should have gotten in there a little sooner.  I was within 100 yards of them turkey hunting on Tuesday and Wednesday.

never did the mushoom thing.. but I locked myself out once hunting.. I started using electrical tape on a spare key up under the rear end. it blends in well and has helped me a few times already

Have never really went after morels until this yr. I happen to find one in my yard while picking up some branches. Later that day the wife went for a horse ride and came back with the saddle bags full of them saying "I think I found some more of those mushrooms, like the one you found in the yard." So next day I had to go out. Found 2 spots an ended up getting 8 lbs. One tree had yellows and the other were brown or grey. Talking to another fellow that does alot of it, it seems to have been a good yr for them. Went out the next w/e and found a few more but I was a bit late as they started to dry.

Anyone else make it out this yr?

I went out one day and seemed to find some (not a ton) in many locations.  About a week later we had trouble finding enough for dinner.  Go figure.
