Lake Geneva 6/22/10 Afternoon Trip

After a slow morning trip we came into the dock and I dropped of my morning guys and picked up Steven Weinstein and his son 9 yr old Eli.

My afternoon guys were just passing through the area and decided to get introduced to Lake Geneva before they fly back home to California. Calm seas and sunny skies present a beautiful scene, but aren't conducive to great fishing days. None the less we ready to give it a shot. The smallies that we were able to find active we stationed mainly on the points with quick access to deep water. We mostly anchor fished since my ship mates weren’t exactly what you would consider experienced anglers.

Mother nature was kind enough to provide us with just enough active fish to keep the guys interested and they were pleased with the variety of fish we encountered. Every time they'd catch a different kind of fish I would remind them that they were multi species anglers. By days end they were talking about being in the area again in August and want to give it another shot.

See ya on the water,

 Lee

**I told a lie the other day. I said that I'd caught a 'bunch' of Walleye. What I should have said is that I caught a little walleye that I named Bunch. There, I've confessed and now I feel much better.
