The daytime walleye bite for my group trolling lead core produced again with a limit of 12 slots on Saturday.   The weather was perfect to troll baby troll at 2 mph with 4 colors of lead. The fish were coming out of 24 to 28 feet of water.   We boated a total of 32 walleyes with some overs and unders for the 8 hour day.   Sunday’s weather gave us a stiff wind out of the east and guess what the fishing was the least and the bite was off.   Sunday we boated 6 walleyes in half a day and got beat up.    Water temp was 67 degrees.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!

Bob was working that creel sensus lady to death on Saturday, some nice fish Bob.

The only chance I had to get out would have been Saturday night but the folks came down from Grand Rapids so we just sat around the fire. That wind was blowing Friday and Sunday so we left late Sunday before the rain came in.
