Anybody else building a deer stand?

Here is my latest creation, still needs the roof and the railings put on.

But, she's almost done!

Don't make it too nice.  There are  currently attempts to assess taxes on deer stands :banghead: :banghead:.

Don't worry....it's 100% moveable, bolted to 4 anchors in the ground. So, they can't tax me on it.  ;)

DE...you wern't to far off on the lift. It was discussed!  :rotflmao:

And, nope, no sand box in the bottom.  ;D

What? Nobody else building one?

Is that a tin roof? They can be a little loud in the rain.
Looks like a hell of a stand though. I would fall asleep for sure in that.

Hunterdown,
My uncle put a tin roof on his stand.  When the sun hit it, you could hear it pop and bang 200 yards away.  :rotflmao:
