well im starting to see more geese, so thats a good thing, but the bad thing is i only got one more day to be out there, then i cant until duck opener. still sitting at a big fat 0 for birds killed and birds shot at 000000000000            :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

There seems to be way less geese at my land also.  I don't know why because there appeared to be the normal amount all summer.  Maybe there is just so much water around that every pothole is full.

We got 4 more this Saturday morning bringing the count up to 12 for the season. Not Great/Not bad. Have had some nice weather and being out there has been fantastic.

I spent the first evening (Saturday) at my land.  Lots of geese came in the ponds towards evening.  I may have to try for a few sometime.

better hurry deadeye the season closes sept 22nd... i went out this morning and didnt see one bird, lots of ducks in the goose decoys, but i did hear 2 faint honks way off in the distance unless i get a day off in the next 2 days today was my last day out

We gotta a couple more on tuesday night...

Final tally for the season is 26 birds, a dozen less than last year. But, we still have the regular waterfowl season to pick up a few more.
