Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from Rush Point Store (plus fishing report!)

 12-24-10  Merry Christmas and a perfect New Year!  Thank you to all the persons who shop local, and help support a fixture that has disappeared in so many neighborhoods, the corner store.  Without you, we would not be here.  Have been seeing cars and a full sized truck out by Wilson, can't say that I would be in one!  Lots of slush on the lake is not deterring too many, 29' seems to be the depth for bigger crappies...or suspended over the 40' holes at about 10'.  Lots of northern on the East Lake, seems to be chasing the sunnies out of the bays.  Walleye at twilight, 12'.  The store is closed for Christmas Day, reopening at 7 am on Sunday..We are closed 3 days out of the year, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day...for the guys asking us to come in an reopen at 3 on Christmas..sorry, ain't going to happen!
