Lost Hunter

Korey has been lost since Monday grouse hunting,,up by Red Lake.

I guess someone on the radio says he is still missing and he has a friends Golded Ret. with him,,

has anyone heard any good news about him?

FOURTOWN, Minn. ? The search for a missing hunter in the Red Lake Wildlife Management Area continued on Wednesday.
Kory Kelly, 38, of Crookston, was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday when he went to hunt grouse. He had a friend's golden retriever with him. The dog was also missing.

Beltrami County Emergency Management Director Beryl Wernberg said the search is concentrated in a 10-mile area north of Fourtown, which is a few miles north of the Red Lake Indian Reservation.

Its to bad there is nothing we can do for him..
I know the DNR has search party's out looking for him.. And a bunch of us would most likely just get in the way..

I spose the only way the DNR will ever find him is if he does something against the law...

They found the dog alive but they still havn't found Kelley.

Although I sometimes hate bringing my cell phone out with me I always do. I turn it off but it is nice to have in case of emergency.

now it sounds like there is another lost hunter.
he called his wife each day while he was away, but had not been heard from since monday.
his truck was still sitting by the entrance to where he hunts.
this learned from a couple of conservation officers yesterday.
general location of the missing hunter is uncertain, as this was just passed on to me from someone who heard the officers talking.
I was hoping someone else had heard about it.
he thought maybe up by hibbing?
