I never see them in the daytime, but at my grandparents cabin up past Brainerd, back in the woods where we have another fire pit these little buggers fly by all night.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

Flying squirrel, or maybe some other name that I don't know.

first one I ever saw, I was like ten at my grandpas farm hunting with my pa.
so I see's this skwerel and I got my trusty single shot 22 to my shoulder becuz i knew this here skwerel was gonna be up $hit creek as soon as he reached the enda the branch he was runnin on.
he was like thirty feet up and an easy shot for me iffin he would stop, so I got ready aimed out neerda enda the branch snd the little $umbich kept right on a goin! right off the enda the branch.
I thought my god, this little critters callin his own demise!
and then I noticed his graceful home made para shoot and he glided to the ground with a thump.
I was in shock.
didn't get the skwerel either...

I've seen them in my backyard in the woods and crawling on my deck at night in the summer time. Very cool little things!

There is a wood duck house on the side of this deer stand.  Six of the little critters have taken up residence there.  I hope they move out before the wood ducks try to nest there.

I can officially attest to Jiggles eyewitness account of a flying squirel in his part of Mn.
Where he lives the country is filthy with them. Most folks got no clue they exist because they never get out at night or their cat does not go out at night. Pretty cool little things and not much to 'em.
