Is it preferred to link to youtube or Put video here?

  I don't know much about bandwidth but does it matter if we actually have the video on this site or link to it.  I have posted a couple of links because I don't know how to put the video in the thread.  Can someone tell me how to do it?  Is either method preferred by MNO?

it is preffered to embed it into the post. It is just easier to view. It allows you to watch it here and not have to leave the site to watch the linmked video.


All you need to do is put the link in between [youtube ]PUT LINK HERE[ /youtube].


You can get that code by clicking the youtube icon above when replying or starting a post.

    I have tried this a couple of times but it always comes back invalid youtube link.  However when just using the link to youtube(so you have to leave this site) it works fine.     Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

What youtube video are you trying to post?

I go to youtube and copy the address out of the browser and post that between the two youtube that Tim is referring to in his post.

    Thanks.  I was not using the address.  I was trying to put the share link in between the youtube icons.  I have it figuered out now.
