We got a bit of the snowfall the state got last weekend, anywhere from 6-12 inches depending on the area.
With trout season coming up on January 15th, we'll concentrate on Burntside and Snowbank lakes.
There is about 8-10 inches of ice in most places on both lakes, a bit more in others.  However, large patches of slush are starting to appear, so travel will be difficult.
Barring any super cold temps, travel will be limited to snowmobile or tracked ATVs.  There is not enough ice to safely take a full size truck on either lake.
Will update conditions again next week, in time for those coming up to plan appropriately.
For any further info, call my shop from 10-1, Monday-Saturday.(218-365-4744)  We will began keeping regular hours next Wednesday.
