I just completed my annual update on my "what to do if I died" file.  This is a file containing all my accounts and accesses, what I owe to whom, where all my stuff is, what bills are paid from which accounts, insurance information, retirement information etc. It is a go to file for my wife (or most likely my daughter) that they can use to find out how to access accounts, who to contact etc if I should die.  This information should be kept in a safe location.
I strongly recommend everyone do this for their survivors. It can save untold amounts of time, expense, and grief for the person who ends up putting your "stuff" together.
