Has anyone gotten out and had any luck on the Briggs chain near Palmer?

  • The brothers with my 2006 buck.
I heard they were doing well on crappies early ice, but have not been there myself. I live close to there and never fish those lakes... Maybe i will next weekend.

Yeah i live north of becker and live 10 minutes away from them but it gets so crowned with houses and snowmobilers i try not to go out there unless i know there are fish to be caught or just going out there to fish for the bottom of a bottle.  :drinking: Julia holds alot of crappies but they are on the small side normally around 6-8 inches and on acouple occasions caught a couple 10-14 inchers in high school when i fished it almost every night.  That whole chain is a huge party chain for highschooler from surrounding areas.
